The Nordstrom Designer Clearance and Half Yearly Sale starts today and runs through June 5th. You'll be able to save up to 40% on a wide selection of handbags, shoes and apparel.

Spring Designer Clearance sales for Neiman Marcus, Saks, Barneys, Farfetch and Net A Porter have also started.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dates!

As previously reported, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale runs July 21 to August 6, 2017. 

Early Access for Nordstrom card holders will run July 13-20! All levels are invited to shop during these dates. Level 4 members will be invited to shop in store 1 day earlier, same as last year. 

Nordstrom is currently promoting their Fashion Rewards program and are inviting new members to join and get a $10 promotional reward if you just join the program (no new card or credit check) to spend during the Anniversary Sale. It's free to join!

Triple Points at Nordstrom - Just in time for Mother's Day!

It's Triple Points time again at Nordstrom! This time we are just in time for Mother's Day.

Triple Points are on from today through May 7th, for all Nordstrom Fashion Rewards members (it's free to join and you don't have to be a card holder!).

Right now, Nordstrom is price matching a ton of beauty items at 10% off and there are over 50+ free gifts with purchase from Bobbi Brown, La Mer, Charlotte Tilbury, Estee Lauder, Clarins and many more.

There are also a few price matched goodies in the designer handbag section (my favorite!).

2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dates Announced!

Mark your calendars now!  The 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale dates have been announced!  This year the sale will run from July 21 to Aug 6, 2017. 

In years past, Nordstrom card holders have been able to shop Early Access to the sale about a week before the official sale starts. As always, I am always seeking out any and all advanced info and will post it right here when I hear ANYTHING!

Fall Designer Clearance

The Fall Designer Clearance season has started and there are some great deals on some beautiful designer handbags!

Burberry has a few pieces on sale at Nordstrom, including the Maidstone and a few from the jute line. Saks also has a medium Milton on sale which is gorgeous. I fell in love with the two toned one though, which I can't find anywhere! I am holding out hope that it comes back next season.

Anniversary Picks and Reviews!

I've been busy shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and reading up on what are everyone's hits and misses.  Just a reminder -- the public sale starts on Friday, July 22!

A lot of the ladies at the purse forum RAVE about Bony Levy jewerly. After seeing the jewelry in person I can understand why. The pieces are delicate but they have massive sparkle!  I desperately want this ring but alas, it isn't in the budget for me this year. You can be sure I'll be saving my pennies for a Bony Levy piece next Anniversary Sale!

The jacket that a ton of people have been raving about but is SOLD OUT is the BlankNYC Morning Suede jacket. I didn't get a chance to try this but I've been stalking the page to see if it gets restocked. It looks so good on so many people!

I think the Joie pieces in the sale are really cute. In particular the Suzetta split neck top was much prettier in person than on the website.  There is some delicate pleating on the yoke and the shoulders. It is sheer, so you'll need a base layer of some sort.

Barefoot Dreams has been expanding their anniversary offerings every year. This year there is a new Circle cardigan in addition to the popular drape cardigan, robe and blanket.  Every year, I want to buy the drape cardigan but alas it is just too big on my small frame. This year the Circle cardigan intrigued me because the sizing is listed as "Xtra Small/Small" (vs. the Small/Medium on the drape cardi).  Well I'm in luck because this one fits me much better!  I'm so excited to wear this one this winter.

As for misses, I did not like any of the plaid I tried: the BP Plaid Tunic Shirt -- completely shapeless on me and the Volcom flannel frenzy was similarly shapeless.  I wanted to love this Soia & Kyo wrap jacket and the Ted Baker wrap coat -- they were both BEAUTIFUL, but far too long on me.
