I have a sneak peek of the 2016 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog!!! I know this is eagerly awaited every year and this year is no exception! We should have catalogs in home in the next two weeks. Until then, enjoy!!!
Edit: Thank you to a very kind and helpful TPF member who took the time to post these and let me use them!
Um, so it would have been nice if you had asked me if you could post my photos on your blog. I understand that the catalog is public, but these are my photos of it. If you don't respond to me and acknowledge my photos, I'm going to report your post.

DeleteYou're right I should have asked. I apologize for that. How would you like me to credit you in the post?
DeleteThank you! I appreciate your responding to me. Honestly, you don't even have to use my name. You can just say something like, Thanks to a kind (or helpful or whatever) tPF member... I don't know why you didn't ask first - maybe just an oversight on your part - but if you had, I would have been thrilled that you wanted to use them to post on your blog and gladly let you. So don't be afraid to ask next time. ;) (And if it's just that it didn't occur to you, well, please just keep it in mind for next time).
DeleteYes it was a thoughtless oversight on my part. I really am very sorry and I am updating the post right now to credit you. I will absolutely ask next time and thank you very much for allowing me to use the pictures. Have a great day! :-)
DeleteNo problem - it happens. ;) Thank you!! You have a great day too. :)
DeleteI just saw the credit - that's perfect. :) Thank you!
DeleteThank you for posting this! And I'm sorry the other person gave you a hard time about being credited. Does she realize her name doesn't even show up so it's not like we even know who she is? Also - who cares?! But thank YOU Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteUh, you might think it's a matter of "who cares" but maybe you don't realize that it's a matter of copyright infringement. And Stephanie can have the entirety of her blog removed for that? It DOES matter that she's credited. She took the photos of the catalog, thus they're her work and that means she should be given credit.
DeleteIt doesnt matter if her name shows up or not. Its just nice to have someone ask you first to use your photos rather than just posting on their blog. She took her time to go through the catalog and uploaded the pictures for all of us on TPF whos been waiting for a sneak peek so its only right to give credit where its due. It was just an oversight and I would say they both handle it well.
