My Picks for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

As you all may have heard, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is starting up soon and as part of my mission to help bring you up to date intel on items in the slae I stopped by my local store today to check out some of the Anniversary items in person.

Every year, Nordstrom seems to have one item that is THE thing everyone has to have. It always sells out fast and if you miss it, you just have to keep refreshing the page to see if they get more stock. You never know what it will be, but I love to try to predict the item. This year I think it is the Veronica Beard Harriet Cutaway Blazer in red plaid. This is a stunning statement piece and I'm sure it will sell out fast. I saw that my store only had 2 left when I stopped by this afternoon!

Another item that was really cute in person was the Marc Jacobs box bag. I loved the vibrant colors in person, particularly the yellow and the pink. I'm very tempted.

These Tory Burch flats were really cute in person and I think they will sell fast. I always like to get a new pair of black flats for work each year at the Anniversary Sale, so I think these might be my pick.

I saw a lady trying this jacket on and it was super cute. If I didn't already have a jacket that is so similar, this one would be on my list too.

These Spanx faux leather leggings looked great and have a ton of good reviews. The Anniversary price makes them a great buy!

News and Rumors about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

By now, there has been a ton of sneak peeks that have been leaked about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that starts next week.

There are a few rumors that I wanted to address:

1. The online preview that LA/NYC Icon/Ambassador members got to shop was NOT the entire sale. I don't know why, but there were a few brands that were conspicuously missing.

For some reason, Rails was not in the preview, but yet we know that there is at least Rails shirt in the sale because its in the catalog. I got a tip that we will also see a few other styles.

Also, there was no Wacoal in the preview, but I can confirm that there are several sales that are included.

I noticed there was only 1 style of Plae shoe in kids shoes in the preview, but there are a few other styles that will also be included. Same with Little Giraffe -- there was only 1 style in the preview, but there will be more styles included in the sale.

Sadly, I don't believe the following brands will participate this year, as they have in years past: Hue, Betsey Johnson Intimates, Majestic.

2. Now we get to the *wild* rumors that are more likely to be false than true... but it is still fun to speculate! I have heard that there are a few new brands that might participate. One of which is... Christian Louboutin! Wouldn't that be wild!? I think Nordstrom might want to station a medic near shoes if that was the case because some people might faint!

Spring Designer Clearance - Second Cuts!

The Spring Designer Clearance has been going on for a few weeks, which means that second cuts at up to 60% off are now happening! There are some seriously cute bags going for very good prices and these will not last long. Many are the "last ones left" in the company, so if you see something you like, this is a "buy now, think later" situation. Haha!

This gorgeous small Chloe Roy is so cute. Chloe is my favorite designer right now and I love hardware on this bag. It seems very practical and lightweight for when you're tired of carrying around a big bag!

2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dates

Attention Nordstrom fans! Save the date for Nordstrom's 2019 Anniversary Sale NOW!!!

The 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will be on July 19 through August 4, 2019.

Early Access will start Thursday, July 12, 2019 for Nordstrom cardholders. Card holders will be able to shop brand-new arrivals at super-sale prices before everyone else! 

Nordy Club Icon cardholders get 1 extra super special pre-shop before EVERYONE else. This will be Wednesday, July 11, 2019.
